Grapefruit Oil

I don’t know about you but I simply Looooove the smell of Grapefruit! Grapefruit essential oil includes the naturally occurring constituent limonene, and is a delightful way to enhance the flavor of meals and water.

Why should I care about Limonene (D-Limonene)?

Grapefruit contains 88-95% d-limonene?   You may be asking, WHAT is a d-Limonene? Limonene (d-limonene) is a protectant and powerful antioxidant that is contained in the peels of citrus fruits i.e. grapefruit, orange and lemon. (Essential oils are included in this too!) The antioxidants protect the body from naughty, menacing molecules called free radicals which are the nasty lil guys that make us sick with many different types of illnesses .

***Please Note*** If using Grapefruit or citrus oils please take precautions in the sun as these oils are photosensitive and can cause a person to burn faster then normal.
